Life as usual

So what now?

Post-graduation- the popping of champagne and partying until sunrise is quickly coming to an end. It’s a bit difficult to comprehend that I am actually done with my bachelor’s degree. For some education means nothing and for others it means everything. Coming from an academic family, education has always been a high priority and something we just do without asking questions. The plan was always to start my master’s degree right after but I realized I may not be ready to go there yet. Not only does my head need a study break but I am craving to learn things in a new way. I’m craving to see new things and just live for a while without an actual plan.

The past few years I have been influenced and inspired by so many things and so many people, which has made me realize that there is so much more to explorer outside the classroom. The last six months or so, one particular sister of mine has been a pain in my ass pushing me to decide what I want, secretly she just want me to travel the world- you see by the time she was 23 she had been to more than 15 countries, studied in 3 different countries and finished her masters, I know right! She wants me to get out of my extremely comfortable world and explore as much as I can and you know what she’s right. I’m very comfortable, I live at my parents as the last one out of six so everything is served on a silver plate; The only thing I do is pretty much wash my own ass, so it’s safe to say that it’s time to come out of this bobble and get more real life experience.

So by the end of this summer I will be taking the leap, the destination is still unknown but will be booked soon. Thank you for your continued support, I hope you enjoyed this more personal post and I can’t wait to share these new challenges, new surroundings and new adventures with you.

Talk to you soon

  • Work hard, play even harder!
Your sister is so right about exploring and going on different adventures. That’s definitely something that I really want to do myself. Hopefully very soon!
    Have a great week!

  • Congrats on graduating! That’s exciting! I come from a family where education means a lot as well. School has always been such a big part of our lives that it can be difficult to get out of that shell and to learn and live in new ways. I can’t wait to read about the adventures and experiences you will have later on.
