The denim jacket

With a new season, comes wardrobe overhaul, and who doesn?t love that? I have already begun planning and integrating some of my summer staples into my outfits, which is why I had to bring out this denim jacket, chances for me getting ready for the warm seasons without one is nonexistent. The denim jacket is one of those things that never really goes out of fashion at least if you ask me. This year the big fashion houses agrees with me, many of them brought the denim jacket back on the runway when they were showcasing their SS15 collections, Saint Laurent took it back to its 70?s origin while Burberry Prorsum gave a more sophisticated take on it so there are plenty of styles to choose between. I?ve had this pale blue denim jacket with two chest pockets for a few years now and I know it?s one of those things I will have and use for years to come. Today I used it as a traditional top layer on top of button- down shirt and trousers to add a little ruggedness and causality to my outfit. Other days I also use it as a laying piece, which gives a whole other look, who doesn?t love versatile clothes that can be styled multiple ways and last for years?
